Girls on the Run Serving Greater Kansas City Birthday Bash 2017

Did you know, last year we awarded over $230,000 in scholarships? This would not have been possible without YOUR support and contributions to Girls on the Run. 

To celebrate empowering over 14,000 girls in greater Kansas City, we are throwing a Birthday Bash! Join us for a celebratory evening highlighting this milestone. 

YOUR support will allow us to provide financial assistance so that every girl who wants to participate in our life-changing program is given the opportunity. Our goal is to serve 20 additional teams for the fall 2017 and spring 2018 seasons. 

When: Wednesday, June 14 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Where: The Monarch Room (1701 McGee, Kansas City, MO 64108)
Price: $75.00, includes food and beverage

Eta Iota Wins Awards At Convention!

So excited to announce that both our Chapter Advisor and SC-NC received New Chapter awards at Gamma Phi Beta's Convention! Elizabeth Lehner was awarded "New Chapter Advisor of the Year" and Tracy Stack received "Playmaker of the Year for New Chapters". Congratulations to both ladies!! #GPBNewChapter

Rockhurst University's Eta Iota Chapter got a remodel this past year! Check it out here. Our very own board member, Jill Woolley, who also serves as the Facility Advisor, was in charge of the remodel. Great job, Jill. It looks fabulous!

The Virtual 4-Mile Founders Run/Walk

Benefitting Girls On the Run

WHEN: REGISTER BEFORE JULY 31st to run/walk 4 miles any time in November 2016

WHAT YOU GET: You’ll receive this beautiful die-cast spinner medal in late October 2016 along with a race bib.

WHO: The event is open to everyone everywhere!

RACE FEES: $30 ($25 for group registrations of 15 or more at one time)

BENEFIT: 100% of net proceeds benefit GPB Foundation and Girls on the Run!

A virtual race is an event that is free of the traditional restrictions of location and time. You complete your 4-mile run/walk anywhere in the world and at whatever pace you like. You can do it on a treadmill, walking to work, with friends on the weekend, or just keeping track of your FitBit miles! Participants can do it all at once or complete the distance over multiple days.
